Gordon Longmead is a photographer of long standing having been introduced to the artform by his father in 1963. His first camera was a Kodak Instamatic and his father was so impressed with those early images, persuaded perhaps by the occasional disappearance of his own Pentax, that in 1964 he invested in two Pentax MX's one of which he gave to his son.
